Montreal producer, DJ, and singer Marie Davidson is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music. Her music blends techno, electro, and dark pop, combining the energy of club music with social critique and personal spoken-word monologues.

Davidson’s breakthrough came with the album Working Class Woman (2018), whose ironic take on club culture brought her international attention and a Polaris Music Prize nomination. Her music travels from Detroit techno and Italo disco to experimental pop, always maintaining her signature spoken-word vocals and hypnotic energy.

Her most recent album, City of Clowns, marks a return to club music but in an entirely new form. The record combines techno with pop melodies, electronic minimalism, and dark satire, exploring themes of identity, control, and the impact of technology on everyday life.

On stage, Marie Davidson is known for her charismatic performance style - as a DJ, storyteller, and performer. Her live shows are both danceable and provocative, merging club energy with a theatrical presence.
